Good Morning! :)

Good morning 🙂 how are you?

Today I managed to wake up at 5:15…well done Grace! I appreciate the fact there are people waking up a lot earlier but as someone who finds it hard to wake up and 6:45, I was quite surprised with my self. The crazy thing is,for the first time in my life, I didn’t have big and frizzy hair! I always used to have ringlets when I was a lot younger and although my hair isn’t as curly, it still has a load of frizz. So today, the one day ever I have time to spend on what my hair looks surprisingly…good! I think the thing that’s doing it is the new shampoo and conditioner I’m using (review maybe…I’ll surprise you with what it is hehe) so that will be seen in my May favourites.

I’m really sorry that this is kind of messy but I still haven’t had any kind of coffee/tea and everything’s still a bit hazy.

Good bye 🙂 have a good day!

Review – Barry M Nail Varnish

nail polish barry m greenberry

Okay so these nail varnishes are definitely one of my favourites and that means a lot as trust me, I’ve tried them all!

Gelly Hi Shine

The Gelly nail range is amazing. The shine is gorgeous and although when you first apply it seems a tad streaky, it has a smooth and perfect finish. This really doesn’t need a top coat as it’s very resilient – in fact the only problem I found was that it can be quite hard to get off which I guess isn’t really a big deal when your nails look so flawless. The range of colours is beautiful and fairly wide. At around £3. 99 per bottle (as on the Barry M website) this isn’t going to put too much stress on your purse but will leave you with gorgeous nails.

The colours I own are Greenberry (as a above) and Papaya (a coral pink) and Satsuma. I personally adore Greenberry and would definitely recommend to any skin tone as it seems to suit me (I’m rather pale) and my more tanned friends. Papaya on the other hand, I am not as impressed with. Although it is a beautiful colour, it really doesn’t seem to work for my light skin tone and if I’m honest, really didn’t wow me. That being said, the colour is still pretty and has looked very good on others. Now, I must confess, I haven’t got round to using Satsuma BUT  my friend has and I must say, it looked gorgeous. We have a similar skin tone so I had to give it a go. It’s kind of a bright orange with a hint of red if that makes sense? Anyway, I have high hopes!

Classic Matte

Okay so the other day when in my local Superdrug, I saw the matte nail effect and couldn’t not buy it and I must say Barry M, I am impressed! I have it in the colour Mocha and I think this is a beautiful colour. I really like a dark colour on my nails so nude really isn’t my cup of tea and I think that Mocha is a perfect compromise. It’s a brown colour that is, surprisingly enough, the colour of a Mocha. It looks really sophisticated and honestly does what it says on the tin. The matte effect worked really well and I can’t wait to continue wearing this!

Thank you for reading, see you soon!

An Introduction

Okay, so I know that I’ll probably look back at this post and find it insanely embarrassing but I have to start somewhere, right?

Anyway, my name is Grace and this is my Blog 🙂 I will basically be posting reviews on things I love (that could be food, make up, clothes, websites, gadgets or anything really)  and talking about what I’m getting up to.

So prepare to be my new best friend and enjoy reading!
